Being forced to wear something like a Best I am everything shirt. Being forced to take off your hijab or clothes is also oppression. When a woman gets to choose, without force, that is freedom. Mehek Sheikh, did I make this ad? No. Did you understand my point? Seems not. My point is: the ad implies that a woman wearing a burka is oppressed. My point is that it doesn’t matter what a woman wears when you force her to take something off or put something on, that’s oppression. As for the premise in the ad – that taking off clothes equates to freedom – I have to wear a shawl to cover my shoulders when I go to services with my Jewish friends at their time here in the Boston, MA area. Best I like her butt shirt. I Learned about how unsanitary it is in cosmetology school. Whatever nasty diseases it picked up from the previous customer gets transferred to the next and so on. Board of Cosmetology in most states in the US band the use of fish pedicures. So the risk is to get a disease from another human because they don’t clean the tank after every session? That’s understandable I guess, lots of tiny cuts in the skin are involved. Not surprised at all after taking micro this past semester anything can pose a health threat in the most minimal way you can think of I don’t see the world the same anymore after taking that class. Nas Daily as an Iranian woman, who has lived in Iran and Best I have everything I need shirt. You are right freedom is not showing more skin. But freedom is also not what is going on Iran today. This ad is disrespectful in a lot of ways. 1 they should have actually used an Iranian woman in their campaign. Two, if the choice to wear a hijab existed in Iran I would agree more with you, however, the systematic abuse Iranian women receive every day is beyond comprehensible. There is an amazing women’s rights movement happening in Iran that shines a line on this problem. Freedom is a choice. One that we do not have. I was dreaming that I called Juan and Back off I have a crazy sister I’m not afraid to use her shirt and I can hear in the background him speaking to a female and I can then hear them kissing. I woke up texted him and told him about the dream and told him I was mad at him.
